Icecats Women's Hockey Cup is about to begin!

After the Final 4 of the Austrian Women's Hockey League, the next big event is the 1st International Icecats Women's Hockey Cup!

From April 12th to 13th, 2025, four teams from Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria will compete for the title of this new women's ice hockey tournament.

With the GCK Lions Zurich, the EC Bad Tölz, HC Dracice Budweis and the hosts,

the Icecats Linz AG, 4 teams with level AA meet.

"We are very pleased that we were able to attract such well-known teams from several nations to our first tournament," says coach Harald Fülöp.

After our guest appearance last year with the women of ZSC Zurich, the idea was born to organize an international women's ice hockey tournament in Linz.

This idea was then put into practice this year and is intended to be the starting signal for

a long-term tournament series in which women can compete at an international level.

The preliminary round matches will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the LINZAG Ice Arena, starting at 9:00 a.m. The final matches will determine the placings on Sunday morning!
